The Space

A home, not a hotel.

Our renovated kominka sits in the heart of Takada — a historic castle town with over 400 years of history. Traditional architecture meets modern comfort: tatami rooms, natural wood, and quiet mornings in the garden.

Five minutes to Takada Park and its famous cherry blossoms. Ten to the old gangi arcade — restaurants, ramen shops, wagashi, miso stores and more. Twenty-five to the deepest powder in Japan. Twenty-five to the Sea of Japan coast.
